Join us for a hands-on outdoor event that will support you in planning and teaching science lessons outdoors.
Wednesday 11th June 2025, 9am – 4pm, Howsham Mill, York, YO60 7PA.
We will…
- Explore how to plan and teach both disciplinary and substantive knowledge objectives outdoors.
- Look at how to assess and record science lessons that take place outdoors.
- Consider some of the specific practicalities of outdoor learning.

- Lots of ideas, and renewed confidence and enthusiasm to take your science lessons outdoors!

Catering: Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day, with sandwiches provided for lunch. Audience: Primary school senior leaders, science subject leaders, class teachers.
